NZ GRAPPLER North Island Champs > Auckland
The NZ Grappler North Island Championships bring Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors from across Auckland and the wider North Island together for a full day of high-level competition at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium.
This Auckland BJJ tournament is part of the nationwide NZ Grappler circuit and gives athletes the opportunity to compete in a professional, structured and whānau-friendly environment. Divisions cater for children, juveniles, adults and masters across appropriate belt and weight categories.

NZ Grappler events use Smoothcomp for registrations, brackets and live match scheduling. Competitors should monitor their Smoothcomp account as the event approaches and carefully check their registered weight, belt, academy and division information.
Adults should arrive two hours before their first scheduled match. Children should arrive with enough time to complete weigh-in and be ready for the bullpen one hour before their first match. Competitors entering a Gi division must make weight while wearing their Gi. Athletes who are overweight on event day will be disqualified in accordance with NZ Grappler safety procedures.
