DESCRIPTION:The NZ Grappler South Island Championships bring Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors from Christchurch and across the South Island together on Saturday 17 October 2026. \nHeld at Ara Institute of Science\, this Christchurch BJJ tournament forms part of the nationwide NZ Grappler circuit. Athletes can test themselves in a professional\, structured and whānau-friendly competition environment\, with divisions for children\, juveniles\, adults and masters across appropriate belt and weight categories. \nEvent information \nDate: Saturday 17 October 2026\nVenue: Ara Institute of Science\, Christchurch\, New Zealand\nOrganiser: NZ Grappler\nRegistration: Complete your entry through the official Smoothcomp registration link on this page. \nRegistrations\, brackets and live match scheduling are managed through Smoothcomp. Competitors should monitor their account before the tournament and confirm their weight\, belt\, academy and division details are correct. \nAdults should arrive two hours before their first scheduled match.
